6-foot, 160-pound, thin, skinny, athletic frame, with plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitting two-way player, showed very well on both sides of the field. Off the mound, simple delivery, fluid, stays over the back side, works down in line to plate. The arm action is clean and loose, working from a 3/4 to lower 3/4 slot. The fastball reached 74 mp with arm side run. The changeup has serious feel, good arm speed, came out of the hand at 63-67 mph, chance to be an out pitch at the some point. The breaking pitch was clocked at 62-64 mph, gets on the side of it, needs to stay behind it. At the plate, stance is shorter and open, gets back to even, with a longer controlled stride. The swing is level through the zone, hands are inside the baseball, producing an all fields approach. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 82 mph and ran a 4.84 from home to 1st. Defensively, simple clean prep steps, gets around the baseball, working low and through it. The transfer is clean, no wasted movement. The arm was clocked at 72 mph, with a ton more in there as he adds strength. Look for his game to take off, time will tell which way he goes.
