6-foot 3, 210 pounds. Bats left and throws right. Schroeder has a physcial athletic presence on the mound and attacks hitters with a fastball that lived at 88 mph touching 90 multiple times. 87 from the stretch. In later innings fastball dropped to 85-86. Throws a slider with late break at 75-76 mph. Needs to find out pitch against good left-handed hittersAnchor of the good run the Fruita team has had last three years. On the year led 5A with a 0.52 E.R.A. before this game. On the season finished with a 4-2 record and in 33 innings only gave up 19 hits with 51 strikeouts. Football is favorite sport. Not committed to play baseball next year.

6-foot 3, 210 pounds. Jumped from mid 80's last summer to touching 90 this spring. Had a stellar year for the Wildcats going 7-1 with a 1.95 ERA in 46 innings pitched. Struck out 67 while only walking 14. Also only gave up 27. Also is the starting quarterback for the Wildcats in the fall. Also hit .464 in the five hole with 25 RBI's and 4 homeruns. Very good athletic pitcher.
