Hunter is a crafty left hander who showed a solid three pitch mix with a quick arm. His mechanics are very sound and he pitches aggressively and attacks the strike zone. He worked at 85-86, touching 87. The fastball is sneaky fast and appears to explode on the hitter as he mixes it in with his 75-76 mph curveball and then a 71 mph change up, at times his change up appeared to be his best pitch and he showed an advanced feel for the change up. He maintained his velocity on a cold, windy day and only allowed one run over the course of 5 innings with 6 strikeouts.
