2023 RHP Brok Eddy (Arizona St. commit) was impressive in his start despite pitching in 20mph headwinds. Eddy went 6 innings giving up 3R. He has the ability to pound the zone with all of his pitches. FB ranged from 84-86 most of the day and touched 88. Has ASR that creates ground balls vs RHH. He is very consistent in locating his FB on the outer half of the plate. His CB 72-75 is a dominant pitch. 12/6 with a late break and appears to have 2 separate gears. Brok’s overall development continues with strength and maturity. Would consider Brok Eddy one of the top pitchers in the State of Colorado!
7/31/21
PBR Future Games 2023 RHP/OF Brok Eddy hails from Brighton HS and plays for the Slammers. Brok uses a great mix of pitches, movement and knowledge to be an efficient pitcher. This high ceiling right-hander continues to make velocity jumps with long term projectability. Fastball sits 85-87 with arm side run. Curveball at 73 with plus spin and 12/6 shape that he can consistently throw to spots. Changeup 77-80 and could be his best pitch. Throws strikes, changes speeds and pitches with great tempo.
2/20/21
6-foot-2, 175-pound athletic frame is still developing. Max fastball was 85.5 mph and has consistent arm-side run and sink. Arm works with ease and has repeatable delivery with a high leg-kick and coil. Eddy throws offspeed for strikes. It's a high ceiling with plenty of room for growth and development.
7/18/18
5-foot-10, 125-pound right-handed hitting RHP/SS who ran a 7.66 60. The RHH has an open stance with a big leg kick trigger and solid balance. Short loose path and the hands create bat speed. There's plenty of projectable traits at the plate from Eddy. 73 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively he showed good feet and a quick glove to hand transfer. Arm is accurate and played at 61 mph. On the mound he stands tall and gets balanced. Strong lower leg drive to the plate and stays in-line on his delivery. Arm speed stays consistent on all three pitches. Delivery is from a high ¾ arm slot. Fastball was 72 mph with command down in the zone. He added a 61-62 mph curve with 11/5 break and finished with a 63-65 mph change that had late, down movement.
