Outfielder RJ Gordon of West Ranch is an Oregon commit that also pitches (I didn’t see him throw) for the Wildcats and bats third in the lineup. The senior showed his offensive abilities on Saturday by smoking a few balls that were caught but showed his strength at the plate. Gordon was robbed of a hit on a double play ball up the middle where he beat the throw by a step at first but was called out (see video). There’s a lot to like from Gordon at the plate and in the outfield, and there’s even more to like of him on the mound.
