Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; Raw physical talent, particularly at the plate, yet the comment 'raw' pertains more to his strength and hitter-ish presence. Has barrel feel, ball screams off his bat, mistake pitches may not come back. Defensively profiles best in LF.
5/31/19
BAWS 2019 - Large, firm strength build with some thickness in the muscular frame (7.45 60yd). Wide, slightly crouched stance keeping flat bat on back shoulder with flared elbows; controlled quiet front foot. Hands have slight movement back as he sinks into his lower half allowing him to use his hips to start the swing and drive forward. Quick bat works on level path through the zone; easy control with late lift able to create leverage and carry. Showed off pull pop with ability to work the ball gap-to-gap (90 EV). Picked up hits staying on the baseball with hard singles into all parts of the field; patient approach not going to expand the zone. Loose actions in RF gaining ground and allowing his compact arm to keep balls online (79 MPH). Bat is solid and liked his upbeat personality during the weekend.

vs Casa Grande HS - Uncommitted; 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, athletic with some speed, hustles everywhere. Hits left handed, keeps the ball on the ground and on a line, stays out of the air mostly to use his speed on the bases and to create pressure on the defense. Has an up the middle approach and can cover the full width of the plate. Does a good job keeping his shoulder in against left handers allows him to stay up the middle on outside pitches. Plays the outfield well, uses his speed to track down balls in the gap, has a strong arm, plays both center and right field.

PBR N CA Preseason All-State - Wide shoulders on full, large frame showing strength in body. Full effort runner with average stride length; chance to improve speed as he works more inline (7.52 60-yd). Balanced stance with crouch keeping hands at back shoulder and flared elbows; smooth load with simple foot lift as he rocks into back hip and hands moving back slightly. Level swing that is quick and compact; drove ball around the field showing strong bat control (84 exit velo). Very projectable swing due to ease and control. Quick and compact arm with strength currently and more coming (81 MPH); outfield skills will continue to improve as he plays out there more.
