at San Ramon Valley - Arizona commit; 3.1 IP, 0 H, HBP, BB, 2 K; Lanky young body, loose movements, highly projectable body type and actions as he physically matures, exudes calm, confidence, moxie. Clean, shorter arm action on backside, shoulder works easily, stuff not eye popping though easy/lazy arm action gives hitter a look that produces more velocity than they expect. Flashed avg to slightly above movement on arm side. Floating CHG, slowed arm on CHG release, CB with big loop, minimal bite. Despite secondary stuff that is still developing he showed ability to pitch off the FB and to still mix in both the CHG and CB. Outstanding at holding runners and the pick move gave runners fits, including one pick off of the senior lead-off hitter (and a D1 commit).
