at Fresno Easter Classic - UNLV commit; showed very well at the plate where his left-handed swing is pure and consistent. Showed the ability to manipulate the barrel plane when he adjusted mid-pitch to an offspeed pitch before pulling it into the right-center field gap. Very athletic player whose future is on the mound.

Scrimmage v Jesuit - UNLV commit. Compact body type with some present strength, looks to be a bit more physical than previous viewing. 3/4 slot, some cross body stride, finishes with momentum toward 3rd base line. Has a breaking ball that he can go to at any time. Showed the ability to rip it hard and make it a big slider (74-76 mph) and also to slow it down and use it more like a get-it-over curveball (68-71 mph). His feel of the pitch is quite good. The fastball would play up (80-83 mph) if he pitched backward and his ability/willingness to shove it inside to right-hand hitters is good. The change-up appeared to be a work in progress and though it has some life and movement, the feel and ability to control it was lacking. Some of that is due to how aggressively he can throw the breaking ball, which is an arm action and arm speed that is hard to utilize for his change-up.

at BAWS 2018 - Athletically built 5-foot-11 160-pound pitcher with a bright future. One of more impressive players at BAWS 2018. Narrow stance on mound with quick turn; clean hand drop allows compact arm to release with small hand wrap behind back before getting to mid-3/4 release. Fastball 79-82 mph with small arm-side sink and ability to use to both sides of the plate. Slider 67-69 mph was above average with late lateral bite; times where he was able to get excellent tilt down through the zone for swing/miss. Could throw to hitters on both sides of plate with excellent feel. Change-up 72-73 mph, showing fade under barrels off his fastball plane; lots of swings and misses on pitch. Showed excellent ability to pitch and change speeds on hitters. Two perfect innings with lots of swing and miss and easy ground balls.
