Game Notes: Jesuit/Rocklin/Bella Vista

Blaine Clemmens
Northern California Director of Scouting

CARMICHAEL, CA – Rocklin HS and Bella Vista HS made the short trip to Jesuit HS for a preseason round robin scrimmage. Jesuit was the main draw (#4 Power 25) with their ridiculous high school pitching staff and one of the best 2020 catchers in the nation. However, given that we are in California, the other schools have plenty of talented players, including the Forrester brothers at BV. Four of the players seen in the scrimmages are Oregon State commits (Anthony Susac, Daniel Susac, Garrett Forrester, Brandon Forrester), while there were five other D1 committed/signed players in action, along with some very talented 2021/2022 players being heavily recruited. There were also some uncommitted seniors to take note of.

Inside are scouting/game notes (with video) on 15+ players, plenty of whom are still uncommitted. College program and you don't have a subscription? Now seems like a good time to get one.

Among all the talent, 2021 RHP Anthony 'Tonko' Susac rose above the rest. It's a long way out, but he sure has the look of a future 1st round selection. Could be in 2021 or if he goes to school, 2024.
