7/13/18 @ USA PDP - Remains one of more intriguing pitchers in 2019 class and will have pro attention pretty heavily in spring 2019. Delivery is starting to get more on-line, loose easy arm remains exciting as a projection type right-hander with good present day stuff but glimpses of future plus stuff. Fastball was up to 90 mph and he finished the day stronger than when he started as his delivery was coming together and his arm action was working more cleanly with good lower/upper body timing. Slider was explosive swing and miss type that has a chance to be a plus offering in the not too distant future. Three batter outing (inf 1B, K SL, backward K SL, BB).
6/25/17 - Long and lanky 6-foot-3 175-pound right-hander, as projectable as you will find in the 2019 N. California class, arm works smooth and easy, bit of a cross-fire delivery and at times it appears to affect his feel of the zone, arm/hand is able to get to good extension, ball left his hand easily, mound presence was good, appeared to be a confident young pitcher, on occasion the curveball had late action and downer bite, other times it was more of a slurve. Stuff will be there in the future with chance to get into low-90s, will have pro attention during his senior year.
