Isaiah Hearn, N/A (CA), 2026
Positional Profile: OF/INF
Physical: 6-3, 180-pounds; Larger build with some present athleticism. 7.03 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a slight pre-pitch bat waggle. Drops hands slightly on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with one-handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman. Strong hands. Middle of the field approach. Advanced bat speed. Let the ball get deep and let his hands work tight and inside the baseball. Slight uphill bat path.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while playing low to the ground. Hands are out in front while standing up during transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 71 MPH. Fields in rhythm and athleticism shows in actions.
