2020, OF (University of Oregon) Brett McCauley is a strong kid, and he has a loud bat. He started the day off recording a double down the line on Monday. His strength was on display as he had a number of balls that he ripped down the left-field line. He was a tick early on those swings, but was able to show that he can compete against upper level pitching going against a University of Arkansas commit that was in the low 90’s on the night. In the outfield, he has range and can make plays and shows a strong arm as well. He is a perfect 2-hole hitter as he makes consistent contact. He registered a 4.35 home-to-first.
