3/28/18 - Stanford signee. Lean, long muscle build; very athletic; plays shortstop and 3rd base when not pitching - also played power forward on Redwood Christian playoff basketball team. Leg dominant delivery, develops explosive-easy torque, arm slot simple and consistent among all three pitches. Not a lot of moving parts in delivery despite explosive nature. Fastball dominant, throws three pitches with full conviction and confidence throughout his outing. Fastball reaches 88 mph, consistent at 86-87. Breaking ball used in any count, late hard break changes slots and planes. Change-up at 74-75 mph. Basketball player range, fields position with range and poise. Extremely efficient, started off game with three quick strikeouts.
