Drinkle has been one of the top hitters in BC for several years now, and the PBL Championships was no exception. Highlighted by a walkoff single to force a decisive final game, Drinkle’s final weekend in the PBL has him primed for a successful college career.
7/04/24
Drinkle was a Future Gamer back in 2022 and has steadily trended upwards since then and is looking to be playing some of his best baseball. Strong, physical left-handed hitter at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds and was spraying the ball to all fields during our three days in BC. The swing is looking more loose and direct and Drinkle has provided plenty of production in the middle of the Blaze lineup this year. The UMary commit is trending in the right direction to close out his high school career as he prepares to head to campus in the fall.
3/26/24
The 2024 University of Mary commit was the hottest hitter throughout the entire pro tour. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Catcher/1st baseman has present strength and bat-to-ball, driving multiple balls to the gaps for extra bases. Drinkle utilizes a toe-tap to get on time and showed the ability to catch up to mid-90s from pro arms. Drinkle will look to have a big senior season for the Langley Blaze before heading off to school in the fall.
