Martin has a fundamentally sound skillset with the right actions at the plate and in the field. A clean and straightforward left-handed swing with an upward bat path and quick hands, Martin will continue to advance at the plate with added size and strength but still produced consistent line drives all around. Connor moved well in the outfield with above-average actions. Arm strength will come, but the arm works very well. Martin is a kid to look out for in years to come; once he starts to fill out, his already polished skillset will shine.
On the bump, Martin will keep hitters off-balance with a 5-pitch arsenal and deceptive delivery. Connor filled up the zone with a two-pitch fastball (69-71, max 72) changeup (59-61) combo. His curveball (57-58) is a work in progress but demonstrated some nice vertical break on a few pitches. Some added strength and size will build on his strong pitching base.
