2022 C Brody Sexton (Chadler)- 5-foot-10, 175-pounds, large build, strong compact frame, composed actions. High caliber defensive prospect, natural low center of gravity, solid flexibility & athleticism. Elite catch & throw skills, 1.86-1.91 pop times with strong arm at 78mph. Shows some ability to receive low strike with body awareness. Hits from a strong athletic base, narrow stance, uses leg kick to create leverage. Loads with barrel tilt, some trouble slotting as swing gets going. Above average pop coming out of the frame, feel for the barrel with some bat speed, 96mph exit velocity. Established himself as one of the top uncommitted catchers in AZ class. Strong follow going into spring.
