Kolton Kennon: LHP/OF, (2023) Bentonville West, AR. 6-foot-2, 155-pound projectable frame. Projectable at the plate, Kennon had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth slow load, then uses a controlled stride. Has a short upward swing plane, average bat speed and high finish. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact . Pull side approach. Projectable from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 80 mph; shows sure consistent hands, rhythmic consistent feet, and a quick clean exchange. Fields the ball one hand, movements laterally were quick. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a ¾ slot and a long arm action. Recorded a time of 7.44 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed a consistent balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-79 mph; shows sinking action and arm side control with heavy movement. Throws a 1/7 curveball (59-63) that has glove side command and gradual action. Throws a heavy changeup (65-66) that has consistent control and fading action.
