6-foot, 185-pound. Above average on the mound, shows quick arm speed. Used easy effort in his delivery. Showed athletic balance point. Threw his fastball 81-82 mph and topped out at 82 mph; had a heavy fastball that showed running action and consistent control. His curveball (69-70) has control around the zone and swing and miss action. His changeup (72-73) has fading action. Late fade on the fastball and the breaking ball shows serious tilt and tight spin.
9/18/19
5-foot-11 170lbs. He really impressed against a stacked Tri-State Arsenal team. A lefty with a heavy FB that has some sink on it. FB sat 80-82, and pounded the zone with it. He is still developing his breaking ball, but once he does he will be a big threat against lineups. The youngest pitcher on the Excel roster, he could have been playing with the underclass group. Showed maturity at a young age, along with grit and competitiveness. He has more left in his backside, he gets out in front a little early. Once he learned the get in the backside the velo will rise. Good looking lefty I look forward to watching develop.
