6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed pitcher and infielder, lean frame. Arm works quick and continuous, some length on the back-side, comes out of a ¾ slot with easy effort. Drop and drive delivery, sound lower half, works on-line, lands square and finishes square to home. Fastball up to 85 early in outing, settled in at 81-83. Feel for slurve-like breaking ball, featured late, sharp break at-times, 69-72.

6-foot-1, 175 pounds; athletic, strong frame. Showed extremely well all over the field. At the plate, showed a simple approach with an athletic swing. Made consistent contact and used the middle of the field with ease. On the mound, Lemons used an up-tempo delivery and a live arm. FB sat 82-85 with heavy run; up two mph when we saw him in June. Uses body with every pitch and works downhill.
Payton Lemons (2021 RHP/3B, Hokes Bluff HS) 6’0 165 lbs- Offensively, handled the bat very nice in his BP round. Does a good job using his strong lower half to generate some juice. Did a very nice job handling the inside pitch in BP. Short, connected swing. Exit velo was 81 mph. Defensively, good hands to go along with above average footwork in the IF. On the mound, was 78-79 and topped out at 80. Curveball is sharp at 62-65. Pronates his changeup well at 69-71. Good player.
