Positional Profile: RHP/1B Body: 6-5, 190-pounds. Projectable frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. Delivery: Tall and fall, up-tempo delivery. Arm Action: RH. Quick arm, mid 3/4 slot. Overall, tons of projection, live arm. FB: T89.2, 87.9-88.9 mph. The pitch comes out of the hand very easy, creates a ton of arm side run. T2307, 2170 average rpm. SL: 73.3-75.1 mph. Gradual 10/4 with feel to the gloveside. T2366, 2299 average rpm. CH: 77.4-79.5 mph. Had some feel for the zone with fade to the arm side. T1508, 1487 average rpm.
7/07/19
A young player with nice upside. At already 6’3”, the size is there for this upcoming freshman. Once he puts weight on (148 lbs.), he could turn out to be a very nice prospect. From the left side of the plate, he starts with an open stance before coming back to square on the load. Shows some juice to the pull side when he is able to get extension. On the mound, the FB is already reaching into the lower 80s. He ranged from 78-81 with some 2-seam action to it. Showed the ability to locate that FB to his glove side well. Quick arm. CB (61-63) showed depth and CH (65-67) displayed some potential. Interesting follow.
