Lines, 6-foot ,170-pound SS was 1 of 2 Alberta prospects that attended the Preseason ProCase in Oakville, Ontario. In BP, Lines showcased his compact swing that stays through the zone for a long time. His flat bat path allowed him to hit almost everything on a line and for some pull side power. In the fields, its elite footwork and hands through the ball. He glides around the infield with carry on his throws across the diamond. During gameplay, Line got on base a few times with hits/walks and it seemed like almost every time he stole both 2B and 3B, he flew around the bases. The Tennessee commit showed why he is one of the elite prospects in the 2024 class in Canada. Recently made the move to TNXL Academy in Florida.

Our first of many looks at Lines, a young 2024 Tennessee commit from Okotoks. The size and athletic look immediately jumps out at 6-foot-, 170-pounds. There’s lots to like in the fluid left-handed swing and he produces bat speed. While he may not have jumped out in the box scores this past week, it was a good overall first showing and Lines will certainly be a name you continue to hear from these next few years. One of the few 2024s in the country currently committed, let alone in the SEC.
