Kaleb Kinder put together a very solid junior season in 2013 earning AAA All-State special recognition for his efforts. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound LHP/OF hit .351 with 18 RBI and 19 runs scored. Kinder compiled a .431 on base percentage and fielded at a .981 clip.
Kinder's 1-5 record on the mound does not tell the true tale of his effectiveness over the course of his junior season. The lefty compiled a 3.08 ERA and walked just eight batters in 50 innings of work. Kinder had a 2.78 ERA as a sophomore when he went 4-1.
The two-way prospect will be showcasing his abilities for college coaches at the WV Open ID Showcase on July 16 at Alderson-Broaddus University.
