Scouting Report
11.18.18 - 6-foot, 195-pound left handed hitter, Maholic initiates his swing from a athletic stance, with his hands near his ear. He uses his body and midsection well to create a powerful turn with his hips. Maholic's bat stays in the zone and shows the ability to drive the ball.
Defensively, Maholic rounds the ball well. He carries his momentum well into his throws. He has the potential to be a next level outfielder.
7/12/17 5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitter, Maholic initiates swing from open set up with knee to knee leg kick and stride to closed. Open to closed stride is associated with some top half dive. There is also a tendency to land on stiff front leg. He does demonstrate loose hands and an aggressive lower half turn. Maholic would benefit from striding to neutral and avoiding upper half dive.
Defensively, Maholic does get behind ball consistently and plays through. He would benefit from being more decisive in reads.
