The Southern Wisconsin Open took place on Saturday October 24th at STiKS Academy in Oconomowoc, WI.
52 prospects took place in a pro style workout in front of the PBR Scouting Staff. Here are some of the players who stood out at the event.
PBR Future Gamer Alex Rodriguez, who is currently ranked No. 14 in the Wisconsin 2017 Class, had a solid day He ran the 60 at 6.97, showing strength thru contact with 87 mph exit velocity from a tee, and throwing 82 mph across the infield.
Young, big-bodied 2019 RHP/1B Rich Byhre ran his fastball up to 85 mph.
2017 C Rusty Murphy tied for the top exit velocity at 88 mph and had the top catching velocity at 78 mph.
2017 OF/RHP Tony Becker showed off arm strength on the day running his fastball up to 83 mph and throwing 84 mph from the outfield.
