7/31/15 - 6-foot-5, 195-pound right-handed pitcher, typical pitchers frame, big and sturdy. Tall and fall delivery, stays upright, can get more from lower half, throws off back side, slightly open direction. Arm plays from a high ¾ slot. Fastball played at 83-85 mph, slight arm side action, showed feel. Curveball plays on 11/5 plane, 69-73 mph, rolling action. Changeup is slight sinking action ay 77-79 mph.
Dillon Nowicki, RHP, Stoughton, 2018
Michigan
3/15/15- 6-foot, 165-pound right-handed pitcher, athletic frame with sloped shoulders, high follow pitching prospect in the 2018 class. Athletic delivery, works online, slight open toe landing, finishes to first base side. Arm action is loose and lightning quick for his age, high ¾ slot. Fastball finishes late through the zone, occasional running action, sat 85 mph, touched 86 mph, plus arm strength for his age. Changeup is a plus pitch for age, throws aggressively with fastball arm speed, hard action to his arm side 80-81 mph. Slider was left arm side, throws with aggressive arm speed, simply didn’t get through the baseball, worked around it and had back up type action, ranged from 67-71 mph. Hits from a balanced stance, arm bar load, short stride. Athletic setup and loose hands, level path. Defensively showed arm strength from the outfield, loose arm action, high ¾ slot, showed arm strength at 85 mph. 7.62 runner in the 60. Looks to project as one of the top pitching prospects in the Midwest’s 2018 class.
