Peter Ahn, SS, Marquette University, 2017
Michigan State

8/12/16 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound, lanky, athletic, middle infielder. Currently Ranked No. 48 in the 2017 Wisconsin Class. 4.12 home to first time. Offensively, left-handed hitter, bat speed, level path through the zone, gets extension, gap-to-gap approach, fluid rhythm; exit velocity clocked at 82 mph. Balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, maintains balance through contact. Showed well in gameplay with two hits, including an inside-the-park homerun. Defensively, reliable hands, quick exchange, fields position athletically. Long, loose arm action from a high ¾ slot; throws clocked at 82 mph across the diamond.

Tanner Halvorson, LHP, Eau Claire North, 2017
Indian Hills CC

3/13/16 - 6-foot, 180-pound right-handed hitting LHP/OF with a solid frame. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short, quick arm action. Drop and drive delivery with a closed landing and athletic finish. Easy effort with smooth rhythm. Fastball sat 82-84 mph for strikes. Curveball shape was between 12-6 and 1-7 at 69-71 mph. Projects to throw a slider. Changeup sat 79-81 mph. Defensively has a long arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Showed off raw arm strength throwing 88 mph form the outfield. Offensively hits from a tall, balanced setup with a short leg lift stride. Inconsistent timing at the plate, lashed a fast bat. Showed strength thru contact with 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.24.

Logan Rezash, C, Greendale, 2017
McHenry County College

9.18.16 - Physical athletic frame, 6-foot-2, 170-pound catcher, body plays well behind the plate. Defensive first catcher, hands are soft, receives well, solid actions and setup behind the plate. Showed arm strength from a short over the top slot, 78 mph out of the crouch. Pop times are 2.00-2.05, quick transfer. 4.62 runner down the line. Right-handed hitter, wider base, short stride. Two-piece trigger, short path, lacked extension. 80 mph exit velocity from the tee.

Zach Carney, OF, Kimberly, 2017
Wabash Valley JC

9/18/16 - 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed hitting outfielder with a lanky, physical frame. At the plate hits from a balanced setup with a smooth load and short stride. Good balance with a fast bat. Pull side approach with present power. Power plays in game, with a towering fly out to left field in game.  Showed strength thru contact with 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.28 runner down the line in game. Defensively works from an over the top arm slot playing thru the ball. Throws showed carry throwing 87 mph from the outfield.

Jayson Walczak-Zalem, 2B, Oak Creek, 2017
Wisconsin Lutheran

9/18/16 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitting second baseman. At the plate hits from a balanced setup with an arm bar load and long keg kick stride. Long, uphill swing path with a fast bat. Generates good pop for his size. 79 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.76 runner down the line. Defensively has a short arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Average arm strength with soft hands. Threw 73 mph across the infield.

 

Zach Campbell, OF/LHP, Burlington, 2017
UW-Whitewater

9/18/16 -  5-foot-11, 165-pound left-handed hitting OF/LHP. Defensively has a loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Plays thru the ball with fluid footwork and average hands. Threw 82 mph from the outfield. At the plate hits from a tall, open stance. Stride works back to event with average balance. Fluid rhythm with a pull side approach. 80 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.47 runner down the line. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action. Tall and fall delivery with easy effort. Fastball showed cutting action at 76-77 topping out at 80 mph. Slider has 10-4 shape at 71-73 mph. Changeup sat 73 mph.

Tanner Williams, SS, Arrowhead, 2017
Winona State

9/18/16 - 6-foot-3, 170-pound left-handed hitting SS/RHP with a lanky, projectable frame. At the plate hits from an open stance with an arm bar load and long stride. Pull hitter with an uphill swing path and a fast bat. Bat stays in zone for a while. Showed strength thru contact with 87 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively has a short, loose arm action from a ¾ slot. Hands work well with good body control. Threw 81 mph across the infield. On the mound works from a ¾ arm angle with a long, loose arm action. Tall and fall, online delivery with some rhythm. Fastball flashed running action at 79-81 topping out at 83 mph. Curveball has 11-5 shape with gradual action at 65-67 mph. Changeup sat 78 mph.
