Future Games: Wisconsin Shutouts IA/MN/NE 6-0

WESTFIELD, IN - Team Wisconsin closed out the 2017 Future Games with a 6-0 victory over Team Iowa/Minnesota/Nebraska despite only having one hit off the bat of Tyler Brandenburg (Lake Country Lutheran).
The pitching was the story on the day for Wisconsin as Riley LeTourneau (Brookfield East), Hunter Rosenbaum (Webster), Connor Langreder (West De Pere), Trey Krause (Burlington), Mitchell Woelfe (Janesville Craig), Trent Ehlers (Sturgeon Bay), and Jack Washburn (Webster) combined to shut down IA/MN/NE.
Hunter Rosenbaum continued to impress on the week by striking out two in his inning of work and running his fastball up to 89 mph. Krause, Langreder, and Ehlers all struck out two in their innings of work. Woelfe and Washburn worked perfect innings striking out one.
Wisconsin finished the Future Games 2-0-1 taking the pool against Illinois, Indiana, and IA/MN/NE.
