The Inaugural Eastern Wisconsin Open took place on Tuesday August 22nd at Wildwood Athletic Park in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The event featured over 40 players from all high school classes who took part in a pro style workout in front of the PBR Scouting Staff. Today we kick off the event analysis with Quick Hits on some of the top performers from the event.

• Minnesota commit Noah Berghammer (Janesville Craig, 2018) has added a ton of strength to his frame, now standing 5-foot-11, 185-pounds, Berghammer looks more physical in the box and the contact off his bat proves it.

• Saxton Shore (Stoughton, 2018) showed rangy defensive abilities and a loose arm that played on the mound as well. Shore ran a 7.16 and threw it 80 mph across the diamond.

• RHP Bryce Staveness (Rio, 2018) showed one of the better fastballs of the day touching 84 mph.

• 2019 LHP Adrian Montilva (Madison East) has a loose arm from the left side that sat 80-81 in his bullpen session.

• LHP Riley Frey (Oshkosh West, 2020) was one of the more higher ceiling prospects in attendance. Frey has a loose easy arm from the left side that is already touching 79 mph and shows repeatability and athleticism in his delivery.

• RHP Jason Jennerjohn (Hortonville, 2019) showed improved velocity on the mound touching 85 mph while also showing above average feel for his breaking ball and changeup.

• Kaden Lehman (Portage, 2019) showed off above average tools across the board. At 6-foot, 174-pounds Lehman ran a 7.01 60, threw it 86 mph across the infield and an 87 mph exit velocity from the tee.

• OF Chance Larson (Elkhorn) is an incoming junior who showed good upside. His frame projects at 6-foot-2, 150-pounds and showed above average run and arm tools along with his ability to handle the bat.

• Max Bruff (Indian Trail, 2019) showed occasional pop in his right-handed bat. Bruff is a strong compact 5-foot-9, 185-pounds with a swing to match, he posted an event best 95 mph exit velocity from the tee.

• 2019 LHP Tyler Drezek (West Allis Hale, 2019) showed excellent feel for a three pitch mix that include a fastball (77-79 mph), curveball and changeup.

• RHP Liam Stumpf (Mineral Point, 2021) is an interesting upside arm. He already has above average arm strength for his age and feel for all three of his pitches.

• Infielder Ethan Habetler (West De Pere, 2020) showed off a bat that presently plays with occasional pull side pop.

• L/L outfielder Issiah Butler (Oak Creek, 2020) looked aggressive at the plate with a fast bat and control over his barrel. Butler works mostly off of a pull side approach but showed the ability to handle the baseball the other way as well.

• Left-handed hitting catcher Blake Carey (University School of Milwaukee, 2020) showed as arguably the best all around catcher of the day. Entering his sophomore campaign he has present durability behind the dish with soft hands and athleticism.
