Lake Country Lutheran jumped out to an early lead on Living Word Lutheran and captured a 15-0 victory on Wednesday. Fifteen runs in the first three innings allowed the Lightning to put the game away early. An RBI single by Andrew Buran and an RBI single by Ben Wilkins during the first inning and an RBI double by Jacob Budnik in the second inning supplied the early offense for Lake Country Lutheran.Jake Hall had two extra-base hits for the Lightning. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third and fifth innings. |

The Demons scored in the first on an RBI single by Luke Gannon, an RBI single by Eric Behnke, and a sacrifice fly by Jacob Lindemann. Aaron Mutter racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Demons. He singled in the first inning and homered in the second inning. Tanner Strommen got the win for Burlington. He tossed four innings of shutout ball. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered one hit. |
