CATCHER

Bennett Cagle C / Edgewood, WI / 2025

POS AVE 2B 3B HR RBI R BB F%
C .471 14 1 4 33 37 24 0.99

Uncommitted. Cagle emerged as the best hitter and producer in Edgewood’s program during his junior season, as he wound up being crowned a State Champion after a stellar season at the plate. The to-be senior took on the catching role for the Crusaders this year, excelling at the position for the season. Before the State Tournament, Cagle hit .471 with 33 hits and four home runs. In Appleton, he strengthened those numbers with the help of a home run against Kettle Moraine Lutheran in a narrow 4-3 victory in the Semifinals. Cagle continued to provide some pop with 14 doubles, 33 RBIs and 37 runs scored—leading this high-powered offense and their attack. After a standout summer and fall in 2023, Cagle maintained that momentum in the spring, as he enters these next couple of months as a name-to-follow in Wisconsin’s 2025 class.

FIRST BASEMAN

Landon Raygo 1B / De Pere, WI / 2024

POS AVE H 2B HR RBI R BB OPS
1B .422 27 7 2 14 14 21 1.221

Bryant & Stratton (WI) commit. Raygo clutched up in numerous scenarios for De Pere in their run to a State Championship, including a complete game win in the championship matchup against Sun Prairie East to cap off the season. It was his production from the middle of the order that stood out for the Redbirds, as the senior hit .422 in the regular season, which consisted of 27 hits and a 1.221 OPS. Raygo added to the depth and momentum that this unit found during the entirety of the season—emerging as one of the main reasons De Pere was able to make their run in the end.

INFIELDERS

Sam Moses INF / Cedarburg, WI / 2024

POS AVE 2B 3B HR RBI R BB OPS
INF .443 8 5 4 20 30 23 1.379

Madison JC commit. Moses has enjoyed a storied prep career at the plate for the Bulldogs, as this season was no different for the Madison JC recruit. Moses hit an impressive .443 with 35 hits—placing himself atop the North Shore Conference and around the greater Milwaukee area as a threat. The senior accumulated 17 extra base hits and 30 runs scored throughout the season—establishing himself once again as the heart and soul of the Bulldogs’ program. His production at the plate, and even on the mound, makes Moses one of the top infielders in the state, as he’ll take his talents to the capital city—looking to continue to showcase his easy power and strength from the left side of the plate.

Winston Alonso SS / Reedsburg, WI / 2026

POS AVE 2B 3B RBI R BB SB
SS .432 10 3 20 36 14 13

Uncommitted. After a solid freshman campaign, Alonso took the varsity stage by storm in his sophomore season—batting .432 with 13 extra base hits. Alonso was the igniter from the top of the lineup for a Reedsburg unit that made an appearance in the Power 25 rankings as one of the best Division 2 teams in the Badger State. Alonso was an on-base machine with 14 walks and 13 stolen bases. He is already off to a hot start this summer, as he looks to carry this same momentum into his junior year.

Nolan Sandee SS / Nicolet , WI / 2024

POS AVE 2B 3B HR RBI R BB OPS
SS .372 9 5 1 17 21 14 1.134

Northern Illinois commit. Sandee clutched up when he was needed for a Nicolet squad that made their first appearance at the State Tournament since 2006. While the senior got the job done on the mound, he was also a steady hitter and quality defender that made the Knights’ team better in the end. In the regular season, Sandee accumulated 17 RBIs and 21 runs scored, as Nicolet finished in second place in a tough North Shore Conference. The left-handed hitter had a Sectional to remember a couple of weeks ago—hitting a home run, multiple extra base hits and closing both games to punch the Knights’ ticket to Appleton. It summarized a quality prep career for Sandee, who heads south to Northern Illinois next.

Dawson Luther SS / Pittsville, WI / 2026

Luther led all infielders in hits during the season—clutching up for the Panthers when his name was called. He had 43 RBIs and over 20 extra base hits—garnering him some serious attention from across the state. Luther was the key for Pittsville in a successful run to Sectionals in the Division 4 field, as he looks to keep up this immense production in the near future.

Marshall Loch RHP / Union Grove, WI / 2024

POS AVE H 2B HR RBI R OPS

POS AVE 2B HR RBI R BB OPS
OF .367 10 4 25 32 16 1.079

Uncommitted. Throughout parts of the season, Hagman was the best hitter on the Hudson squad—producing extra base hits and providing steady play in the outfield in his first season on the varsity stage. In front of our staff, the freshman hit multiple home runs during his 2024 campaign—showcasing easy power to the pull-side. He took on the leadoff role in the lineup for the Raiders, while then moving down to the cleanup spot later on during the season. He was one of the main reasons for their success in the regular season and the playoffs, which included a Big Rivers Conference championship, a Sectional title and a State Tournament appearance. His future is bright in the Hudson program, as he looks to continue to make noise in the summer.

Jackson Neilitz OF / Plymouth, WI / 2025

OF .457 9 4 2 25 33 17 1.343

Neilitz hit .457 with 33 runs scored for the Panthers, igniting their offense at a consistent clip. The junior finished his season with an impressive OPS of 1.343—summarizing his dominance on the field in the orange and black. He remains one of the top uncommitted juniors in Wisconsin’s 2025 class—shaping up for a strong summer on the tournament and showcase circuit.

The multi-sport star hit .450 with 18 extra base hits, scoring 39 separate times with his elite speed and production. Kenesie stole 17 bases and limited his strikeouts at the plate—making him a tough out for any opponent. He set records in the WIAA during his basketball tenure—capping off a successful baseball career before heading out east to play basketball at Buffalo.

PITCHERS

Carter Kutz RHP / Hartford Union, WI / 2025

IP W/L SV ERA ER K WHIP
58 7-1 1 1.93 16 92 0.95

Nebraska commit. Kutz was the Pitcher of the Year in the North Shore Conference, and emerged as the ace on one of the top programs in the WIAA this season. Hartford remained in the top-10 of the Power 25 rankings for multiple weeks before dropping out after a loss in Sectionals. Kutz was the leader of their group, especially on the mound. The right-hander struck out 92 batters with a 7-1 record, including a save. He threw in 58 innings and had multiple complete games—emphasizing his importance to this program. Kutz provided a spark that allowed the Orioles to be conference and Regional champions in the process—priming him for a strong finish to his prep career.

Tavian Shramek RHP / Blair-Taylor, WI / 2025

IP W/L ERA ER K
55 11-0 0.13 1 138

Uncommitted. Up in the northwest portion of the state, Shramek was one of the most dominant arms in the Division 4 field and beyond in 2024. The numbers speak for themselves with the junior’s performances, as he tallied 138 strikeouts in 55 innings pitched. Shramek only allowed one earned run during that time period, allowing Blair-Taylor to rely on him and enjoy a strong 2024 season. The right-hander was an impressive 11-0 throughout the entirety of the season—including a defeat of the Division 4 champions in Eleva-Strum. He hit a home run in that game and twirled a shutout in a 1-0 victory—summarizing his dominance. Shramek will make his first appearance in front of our staff at the Western Wisconsin ID in a couple of weeks.

Drayton Lou RHP / Janesville Craig, WI / 2024

IP W/L ERA ER K WHIP
55 9-1 1.02 8 70 1.02

St. Cloud State commit. Janesville Craig quietly went about their business in 2024 and wound up putting together quality numbers throughout their year. Part of the reasoning behind that was the prowess of Lou on the mound, as he finished the season with a 9-1 record in 55 innings of work. Lou only allowed eight earned runs in the process—throwing against tough competition in the Big Eight Conference and beyond. He stepped up as the ace of this unit to cap off his prep career on a high note.

Aedan David RHP / La Crosse Aquinas, WI / 2026

IP W/L ERA ER K WHIP
60 10-0 0.82 7 58 0.73

Uncommitted. David twirled a no-hitter at the State Tournament for La Crosse Aquinas to advance them to the Division 3 Championship game, which summarized his 2024 as a whole. The sophomore impressed against mostly Division 1 competition, as David was a flawless 10-0 with a 0.82 ERA for the Blugolds. He dominated from start to finish, relying on weak contact and a strong defense to get the job done. David tossed multiple no-hitters down the stretch for Aquinas—emerging as their ace on an experienced pitching staff. The right-hander clutched up when they needed it, as he looks to enjoy a strong summer after impressing in Appleton.

Garrett Shupe RHP / Mosinee, WI / 2024

IP W/L ERA ER K
42 6-1 0.33 2 52

North Dakota State commit. Shupe rounds out the pitchers in this group, as he entered Appleton with an impressive 0.33 ERA in 42 innings of work—leading Mosinee to the Division 2 State Tournament with his dominance on the mound. Shupe rushed his FB in the upper-80s in multiple looks over the course of the season, putting in quality work when his name was called for the Indians. Shupe was 6-1 before making it to Appleton, as he tallied one more win to his totals to cap off his prep career before heading to North Dakota State in the fall.

Drew Kavanaugh RHP / Sun Prairie East, WI / 2024

AVE H XBH RBI IP W/L ERA ER K
.402 33 6 31 61 8-0 1.83 16 64

Wisconsin-Eau Claire (football) commit. Kavanaugh was a strong leader for Sun Prairie East after putting up stellar numbers at QB1 for his football program in the fall. The senior was a two-way star for the Cardinals, going 8-0 in 61 innings of work on the mound while hitting above .400 at the plate. He only allowed 16 earned runs—tossing a five-inning no-hitter in front of our staff during his senior campaign. Kavanaugh had a steady presence in Sun Prairie East’s order as well—clutching up in big moments, such as his walk-off single against Hudson in the Division 1 Quarterfinals at the State Tournament. He enjoyed a successful career as a Cardinal in multiple sports—garnering attention for the numbers he put up on the baseball field in 2024.

Ahlberg was 6-0 with a 0.62 ERA, all while hitting .444 in the process. He accumulated 20 hits in 18 games for the Green Eagles on their smaller schedule, yet hit five doubles and five home runs in the process. Similar to Kavanaugh, Helgeson enjoyed one of the strongest seasons at QB1 for his school before taking the diamond in the fall—maintaining his athletic prowess in multiple sports. Helgeson hit .491 with eight extra base hits, walking four times for every one strikeout. He dominated on the mound, too. Helgeson was 6-1 with a 0.67 ERA, striking out 82 batters in 41 innings of work.
