Cape Henry is coming off a twenty-six win season and a VISAA Division I title. What can you expect from the Dolphins in 2023?

Classification: VISAA Divison I  2022 Record: 26-3 *VISAA DI State Champions*
Key Losses: Kenneth Schaedel, Josh Holland (Bryant & Stratton)

The reigning VISAA Division I State Champions are back in 2023 and look to add to their trophy case once again. The Dolphins return the vast majority of their team, with a few young names to know this year. Two years ago Cape had offensive firepower and athleticism, but lacked quality arms, experience, and depth on the mound. Through those growing pains, they return the vast majority of their innings on the mound. Tanner Schaedel (ODU), Yoon Chae (Amherst), Parker Wight (JMU), and Colin Lebel (George Washington) could be their frontline arms, with more depth behind them. A large portion of their staff will be key contributors in the lineup as well. Schaedel, Chae, and Parker Wight should be joined by senior Cooper Angilly (Rhodes College) in the front half of the order. Andrew Hart and Harper Cox are lock down defenders in the outfield and will contribute in the lineup as well. The Dolphins are quite possibly the VISAA Division I favorites heading into 2023.
