It is with great excitement that we release to you today, our first update to the VA/DC Class of 2025 rankings with our Top 50 release. Following today's Top 50 release, we will unveil the Top 200 on Thursday. Throughout this week we have highlighted new faces, risers, and players whose stock has taken a jump in the past few months.
Now today we turn our attention to the Top 50, including the Top 10 list below. To go along with the Top 10, we would like to highlight a few players that have made some moves.
Hanging tight at the #1 spot is Evan Hankins. The Tennessee commit will now play his high school baseball at the Miller School. This is a huge pickup for the Mavericks, but that is a story we will get into some other time. Hankins is an upper 80's left handed arm with three pitches, but as good as he can be on the mound, it is the bat that tends to carry the weight here. Raw power with plenty of in game power to the middle and pull.
‘25 Evan Hankins with an absolute ? in the T1.

Moving up seven spots to #2 is St. Albans ace, Myles Upchurch. Upchurch is recently uncommitted and has to be one of the most sought after uncommitted players in the country. He had one of the best seasons of any player in the state/district last year. Upchurch has been low 90's this summer and with his combination of physical makeup and stuff, has some of the best starter profile of any arm in the state.

We have highlighted quite a few of the Future Games participants over the past few weeks, but two that we want to highlight as big movers are a pair of UVA commits from the Richmond area. Bryce Neely and Jett Bristow, while they have different defensive profiles, have a loud set of tools that offer plenty of projection to go along with their current value. Neely has moved up twelve spots and Bristow has made a slightly bigger jump, moving up twenty-two spots.

Moving up fifteen spots is WVU commit, Josiah "Sy" Crider (Broadway). The left handed hitting catcher really showed his advanced hit tool this summer, as well as some explosive power that flashes at times. Crider has displayed his ability to use the whole field, as well as impact the baseball in a big way to the pull side.
