Landry Wideman, RHP, Churchill HS, 2018
Texas A&M Commit – Wideman has a strong 6-5 frame and throws from wide ¾ arm slot. He creates a lot of torque in his delivery with visible effort. He began the game with his fastball at 86-87 T88. He threw a hard breaking slider at 77-79 that he showed great feel for that had broke well on both the lateral and vertical plains with 11-4 shape. Later in the game his fastball dipped to the 83-85 range, still topping 87, but displayed the same feel for his slider as well as a 74 mph 12-6 curveball.

Austin Plante, OF, Lake Travis HS, 2019
TCU commit. Plante was the star of the Lake Travis offense on the day showing major power to both sides of the field. Plante, who fits the mold of a power first basemen/corner outfielder standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 225-pounds, was robbed of a single in the first inning on a sliding grab by the opposing first baseman, but responded in his following two at-bats with a double and a homerun to both power alleys. Plante featured a quiet swing that inflicts damage when he makes solid contact. Very impressive junior bat.
