Jake Jennings, Freshman SS at Plano East
Jake was 4/7 this week with 2 RBI and 1 run scored.  He had a 3 hit game Monday night vs. McKinney Boyd and his 3rd hit of the evening was a single that drove in what proved to be the game-winning run.  This was his 4th multi-hit game of the season (as a freshman). He has started every game for us at SS at Plano East.

Grand Saline sophomore pitcher Bryce Smith. Pitched a 7 inning complete game win over Quitman for an opening district game win. Smith stats for the game 3 H, 0 R, 12 K, 1 BB. Hitting: 2-4, RBI Season Pitching Stats: 36 IP, 4-0, 24 H, 6 ER, 9 BB.
