Today, and in the days following, we want to shine a spotlight on the uncommitted prospects, specifically 2021s. We started with left-handed pitchers yesterday. Today, we roll right along to highlight 44 uncommitted right-handed pitchers. Keep reading below for reports and video from each prospect's last appearance at LakePoint.

Logan McGuire, RHP, Allatoona (GA), 2021
10/20/19 - 6-foot-3, 170-pound right-handed pitcher, long, uber projectable frame, room to fill out all areas, moves with smooth actions on the mound. Arm works long and continuous on the back-side with quick arm speed, accelerates out front consistently to a high ¾ slot, repeats. Drop and drive delivery, keeps front side high, leads with hip, works on-line, explosive at release and upon landing with stride leg, finishes with some recoil and crossing over. Came on in relief in the finals of the PBR Fall Class with two outs and the bases loaded in the fifth inning. Sat 91-92 mph (1900rpm) to the first batter, striking him out in four pitches. Maintained velocity over the final innings, sitting 89-92. Struck out all seven batters he faced, all on fastballs. Rarely used his off-speed, had no need to with how dominant his fastball was, curveball came in at 76 mph (2250rpm). One of the top uncommitted arms in Georgia’s Class of 2021.

(10/20/19 - Fall Classic)

Hagan Banks, RHP, Calhoun, 2021
9/14/19 - 6-4, 185. The righthander showed a heavy fastball attack early running the fastball up to 92 and sitting comfortably 88-90 for his entire outing. Banks showed good plane at times and flashed decent feel for a slider. Command was iffy at times as he showed a tendency to pull off/fly open and yank the fastball glove side. When he stayed mechanically in tact, he commanded the fastball and made adjustments when needed.
(9/27/19 - Adidas Three Stripe Classic)

Cade Barnett, RHP, Cullman (AL), 2021
9/14/19 - 6-foot-4, 180-pounds, right-handed pitcher, long, lanky frame, projectable build. Long arm action with a wide draw behind his back, quick acceleration to a high ¾ slot. Drop and drive delivery, works on-line, lands square, finishing up right with a cross over. Fastball sat mostly 85, ran it up to 87 at-times, armside run action. Breaking ball played at 70-73 with a two plane break.
(9/14/19 - Fall Invite)

Clay Tyas, RHP/SS, Chestatee (GA), 2021
9/21/19 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed pitcher, broad shoulders on top of a lean, athletic frame, plenty of room to fill out. On the mound, arm works loose and easy on the back-side, accelerates quickly with little effort to a ¾ slot, whippy hand speed, finishes pulling down. Drop and drive delivery, high front shoulder, works on-line, lands square, finishing athletically. Fastball sat 85-86, touched 87 and 88, late life. Slider, has the makings of a true out-pitch, depth and late bite, 73-75 (up to 2600rpm).
(9/21/19 - PBR Cup)

Richard Westrop, RHP, Lambert (GA), 2021
10/20/19 - 6-foot-2 205-pounds. Physical framed righty that looks intimidating when he steps on the mound. His delivery is smooth, but violent. He has a strong finish and gets good extension that gives him a powerful 2nd half of his motion. FB worked up to 88 in the 1st inning, he settled in at 85-87. Threw a heavy FB and a power SL at 75-77. The SL is a swing and miss pitch when he throws it with conviction and starts it at the bottom of the zone. He has a really strong lower-half that projects more velo to come given the frame. Another GA player that will be fun to follow at Lambert HS in a strong region.
(10/20/19 - Fall Classic)

Thomas Botts, RHP, Cass (GA), 2021
10/19/19 - Stands an imposing 6-foot-4, 215-pounds, strength throughout frame, has the build to be able to continue to add more strength, definitely more in the tank as the weather conditions prohibited him from really letting it go consistently. Arm works short and methodical on the back-side, accelerates quickly to a high ¾ slot, quick hand speed. Controlled drop and drive delivery, works on-line, drags back leg down the mound before finishing on follow through, crosses over to finish. Fastball came out heavy at 84-86. Gets behind his slider extremely well, allowing for max velocity on pitch, ranged 80-81 with late downward action, swing and miss type pitch. An exciting prospect who should factor in as a big contributor for Cass High School this spring.
(10/19/19 - Fall Classic)
