10/01/19

6-foot-4, 185 pounds; long limbs with considerable strength in build. One of top uncommitted arms in the state and showed why over the weekend. Fastball sat 88-89,T90 out of the bullpen. High leverage situations that brought out uber-competitiveness on the mound. Ran FB on RHH hands. Curveball had sharp action at 75 mph. Impressive outing that showed Banks can throw in different situations than just the starter role. Ranked 25th in the GA 2021 class.

9/18/19

6-4, 185. The right-hander showed a heavy fastball attack early running the fastball up to 92 and sitting comfortably 88-90 for his entire outing. Banks showed good plane at times and flashed decent feel for a slider. Command was iffy at times as he showed a tendency to pull off/fly open and yank the fastball glove side. When he stayed mechanically in tact, he commanded the fastball and made adjustments when needed.
