2024 Prep Baseball Tennessee Player of the Year: Tomas Valincius

After another strong spring season across the Volunteer state, Prep Baseball has announced its Player of the Year in the state of Tennessee. Last year the POTY honors went to Dylan Loy (Pigeon Forge HS). This year, the honor goes to 2024 LHP/1B Tomas Valincius, a Virginia signee and the No. 3 over ranked player in the state of Tennessee.

 

2024 PREP BASEBALL TENNESSEE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

After a remarkable senior season for the southpaw from Baylor School, Virginia signee Tomas Valincius has been named the Prep Baseball Tennessee Player of the Year in 2024. One of the top left handed arms in the country, Valincius helped lead the Baylor Red Raiders to a 25-8 overall record where he posted some of the top numbers in several stat categories on his team.

The former Prep Baseball All-American would produce on both sides of the baseball. On the mound, would post a 8-1 record to go along with a 1.26 ERA, collecting a total of 84 stikeouts in 50 innings throughout the spring. At the plate, hit for a .444 average, totaling 40 RBI's, 5 doubles, and 10 homeruns.
