It is with great excitement that we release to you today, our latest update to the Va/DC Class of 2023 rankings with our Top 50 release. There is not a ton of movement since our late summer update, but there was a shakeup in the Top 10, as well as a big mover coming into the Top 50. Following today's Top 50 release, we will unveil the Top 100 on Tuesday, and full Top 200 on Wednesday.
We stay status quo for the top two spots as Bryce Eldridge (Alabama) remains at #1 and Jonny Farmelo (UVA) stays put at #2 after a really strong fall.

There was a small shakeup in the Top 10 with Wake Forest commit Cameron Nelson (Pro 5 Academy) moving up three spots to #6 and moving up two spots to #7 is Duke commit Kyle Johnson (Riverside).
What an impressive 1st look of ‘23 Cam Nelson. The @PRO5BaseballVA OF/LHP has 2 hits on the day, a 3.65 bunt, and up to 93 on the mound. Electric #GoDeacs recruit

We also had a new face inside the Top 50 with recent VCU commit, Trent Adelman (Pro 5 Academy). Adelman had a few standout games in front of our staff. He is an explosive athlete whose physical traits translate into the game, especially at the plate. Adelman climbs over thirty-five spots and lands at #41.
Strong showing tonight from ‘23 Trent Adelman. Smoked a 2 RBI single in his 1st AB & then just misses this ball to deep LF.
Aggressive at plate w/ ability to find the barrel. Aggressive runner. Physical athlete. @PBR_Uncommitted @PBRVirginiaDC @PRO5BaseballVA #PBRIsThere pic.twitter.com/oJMCJBf2Dm
