There is plenty to like in the physical left-handers game. A two-way prospect, Sparks offers strength & athleticism within his 6-foot-2, 200 pound frame. A 6.75 runner at the PBR Future Games, Sparks pairs his straight-line speed with bat speed and power potential from the left-side of the dish. Sparks offers defensive versatility as an OF that can also play 1B. On the mound, the southpaw has run his fastball up to 87 mph, pitching consistently in the mid-80s. A strike-thrower - Sparks shows the ability to land a 1/7 shaped curveball in the low-70s, along with showing feel for a straight change in the mid-70s.
