9/13/19

 

+ IF/RHP Trey Frahm (Elkhorn HS, NE) pitched the seventh inning in a loss to Team Indiana, allowing a walk while striking out two. With a short arm action and efforty delivery, he sat 92-93, touching 94. The Kansas State recruit also mixed in a 72-74 curveball with loose 10/4 break.

 

 

2018 PBR Future Games- Working from the stretch the six-footer threw primarily FB on a hard, downhill plane at 88-90 mph. The one BB thrown was 71 with 12/6 two plane shape that with consistency could develop into a decent secondary pitch. Was 2/8 in game action with a single and a double.

 

 

5/20/18- Nebraska Elite 50

 

 

5-foot-10, 175 pound infielder ran a 6.94 60 yard sprint. Ranked #2 in the Nebraska 2020 rankings. Athletic build with present strength in lower half.  Pull side power at the plate, short to contact with barrel control. Line drive and fly ball contact during round of BP. Posted an 91 mph exit velocity off a tee. Went 1-3 at the plate during game action of the Elite 50. Easy actions in the infield, athletic movements, sure hands, top arm we’ve seen at the PBR Nebraska event that topped out at 90 mph across. Hit .395 with 24 RBI at the varsity level this past spring.

 

 


 

 

5/21/17- 5-foot-10, 175 pound shortstop ran a 7.2 60 yard sprint. Athletic build, wide shoulders. Square stance at the plate, quite stride, linear barrel path. All field approach, hard gap to gap contact. Exit velocity of 86 mph off a tee. Athletic actions in the infield, plays the ball low, outfront with soft hands and strong tempo, accurate arm that topped out at 82 mph. Strong follow for the 2020 class.
