Lee-Davis at No. 2 Hanover
Hanover looks to remain unbeaten by opponents from Virginia as the Hawks have a deep rotation and very talented lineup. Look for Lee-Davis to start Justin Sorokowski (Florida State) in what should be one of the best games on paper this week.
No. 4 Liberty Christian at Amherst County
The Bulldogs are coming off of a win Thursday against private school rival Miller School as they travel to Amherst for a Conference 23 game tonight. Liberty Christian has been dominant on the mound all season, which makes this an interesting matchup against a solid Amherst lineup.
No. 5 Atlantic Shores Christian at No. 8 Western Branch
The top matchup of the day pits the undefeated Seahawks against an outstanding Bruins squad that enters the game off of a loss to Indian River on Tuesday. Look for Western Branch to roll their ace, Corey Klak (Old Dominion) out in this game.
No. 10 Glen Allen at Deep Run
Glen Allen has only lost once this spring as the Jaguars travel to take on a solid Deep Run squad tonight. The key to Glen Allen’s success has been its offense
Woodbridge at No. 12 C.D. Hylton
Hylton enters the game coming off of a loss on Tuesday to Potomac. This conference should see both teams roll out a good arm, with Ryan Billy being the probable starter for the Bulldogs. The Vikings have been in most of their games this year, and have come very close to beating quality opponents all season, look for this to be a tight game.
No. 14 Jefferson Forest at Brookville
Jefferson Forest continues Seminole District play as the Cavaliers travel to Brookville tonight. The Cavs avoided using their top two arms in Wednesday’s win, leaving Indiana Hall (Concord) and Zach Peek (Winthrop) available for tonight’s game in what could be a good matchup on the mound with sophomore Haydon Almond an option for Brookville.
Culpeper at No. 19 Kettle Run
The Cougars enter the game on a seven game winning streak and their bats have been hot lately, scoring 29 runs in their last two games.
No. 21 Potomac Falls at Tuscarora
A big Conference 14 matchup in Leesburg this evening as Potomac Falls enters the game coming off of a loss Tuesday to Briar Woods. The Huskies come into the game off of a win over Lee on Wednesday and will likely have ace Cole Gabriele (Mary Washington) lined up for this game.
Stone Bridge at No. 23 Briar Woods
Batter Up for Rupp Game
No. 24 First Colonial at Kellam
The Patriots pushed their record to 12-0 with a win over Kellam on Wednesday, 5-1. First Colonial has allowed just five runs in its last five games as the Patriots go on the road for the second half of this Coastal Conference 1 matchup.
