With the spring and summer seasons under our belt, it’s time for another update to the state’s 2024 rankings.

This class continues to solidify itself as another high-end group to roll through the ‘Show Me’ state, with premier talent at the top and plenty of players scattered throughout that will have impactful careers at the next level.

Yesterday, our staff officially updated our 2024 board, highlighting several of the state's top prospects within our release. You can find that by clicking HERE.

We'll dive deeper into the rankings themselves today, shining light on a handful of players that earned a rise up our board after showing well to our staff. Below you'll learn more about these names that are trending upward as the fall is set to start.

RANKINGS RISERS

Michael Callahan OF / LAFAYETTE SR. HIGH, MO / 2025

Lean 5-foot-11, 165-pound athlete with wiry strength and explosive twitch. Was a major winner throughout our summer circuit that ended with an invite to the PBR Future Games, where he starred as a member of Team Missouri. 6.61 runner in the 60 that translates it even moreso on the diamond, effortlessly swiping bags while floating throughout the outfield. Fast, twitchy right-handed swing with juice off the barrel and feel to hit. A high level athlete capable of positively impacting the game in multiple ways.

Ethan Rogers LHP / Lone Jack, MO / 2025

6-foot-1, 165-pound frame with long and lean levers. Was on the rise throughout the summer, showing well at the MOKAN Top Prospect Games and the Kansas City Program Invitational. Represented Team Missouri at the Future Games in late July. Upside mover that's still fully learning how to control his levers down the mound, clear athleticism (6.90 60). Fast over-the-top slot, fastball touched 89.5 mph, pitching in the upper-80s consistently. Curveball flashed sharp downer spin at 74-76 mph, intentful. One of the top left-handed arms in the class.

Noah Johnson RHP / East Prairie, MO / 2025

Long-limbed 6-foot-4, 180-pound athlete with plenty to project on physically. Stood out at the Super 16 at Creekside, earning an invite to the Future Games as a result. Fastball plays in the mid-to-upper-80s, touching 89 mph in our looks, from an easy operation with more to come. Spins a short wrinkle low-to-mid-70s slider and also features an upper-70s changeup. A projectable follow in the class that's trending upward after a positive finish to his summer.

Camden Lohman RHP / Fort Zumwalt North, MO / 2025

6-foot-3, 175-pound long, lanky frame with lean, whippy levers. Represented Team Missouri at the Future Games in July and excelled, tossing a pair of clean innings on the event's second day. Bumped his fastball up to 88.2 mph there, was up to 91 mph in the winter, while pitching at 86-88 mph from a fast/high arm angle. Confident in a 73-75 mph slider, flashed feel at times and spins it with intent. Another upside arm in the class with a loose, projectable frame.

Reign Williams OF / Lees Summit, MO / 2025

5-foot-10, 185-pound muscled-up frame with strength throughout, particularly in the lower half. Came away one of the biggest winners from our entire winter circuit, rising over 50 spots in this update and earning an invite to the Future Games as a result of his efforts. Fast left-handed swing with inherent strength, hammered a double in-game at LakePoint against a high-end arm. Has the makings to be an impact left-handed bat at the next level. Also runs a 6.79 60 while reaching 20.8 mph at peak speed.

Brian Gould 3B / MICDS, MO / 2025

Strong, compact 5-foot-11, 195-pound frame, thick lower half. Was a member of Team Select at the Future Games, throwing two quality innings against Team Wisconsin in his outing. Ran his fastball up to 89.1, pitching at 86-88 mph with both ride (17.5 IVB) and run (18.2 HM) at peak. Bread and butter pitch was a 73-76 mph slider with heavy sweep that grabbed plenty of whiffs and uncomfortable swings, flashing real out-pitch potential at the next level.

Gabe Huelsing OF / Oakville Senior, MO / 2025

From 6/27/23: "...Wiry with strength on a 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame, Huelsing worked equally to the whole field in BP, keeping his barrel through the zone with leverage out front. Huelsing had two 96+ mph batted balls, drove his deepest ball 336 feet to straight away center field, and four of his nine fly balls traveled 320 feet, per TrackMan. He also ran a 7.06 60-yard dash and was 90 mph from the outfield on his hardest throw, finishing one tick behind the day’s leader. Huelsing hopped on the mound later on and pitched at 85-87 mph with his fastball while spinning a low-70s breaking ball with lateral action at 2300+ RPM."

Easton Phillippe C / Staley, MO / 2025

From 6/27/23: "...was another standout name-to-know winner on both sides of the ball from this event. Offensively, Phillippe repeated a clean, rhythmic, and polished left-handed swing consistently, backspinning baseballs to the pull-side on a consistent basis. The 5-foot-8, 155-pound backstop launched his furthest ball 346 feet into the right-center gap, staying on the barrel with deep and elevated contact throughout that way. Though he worked mostly to his backside in BP, Phillippe went the other way in-game, peppering a single to left field and promptly stealing second base moments later. Phillippe is a natural defender behind the plate, working down-to-up and presenting the ball well with soft, swift glovework to boot. He was on the bag consistently during his workout, popping in the 2.03-to-2.07 range and reaching a 76 mph high from the chute. Phillippe came away from this event with an arrow-up as the summer circuit continues."

Ashton Nance 1B / Blue Springs South, MO / 2025

From 7/6/23: "...Kansas commit. Physical 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame that’s leaned out over the last calendar year and added quality muscle. Took the mound on Thursday morning for Mac N Seitz. Fastball touched 87, sat 84-86 mph through his first three innings of work. Comes out clean, more to come as he continues to mature physically. Late spin on a tight slider, 73-74 mph, spotted it around the zone at times. A rising prospect in Missouri’s 2025 group."

James Unwin RHP / Saint Louis University, MO / 2025

From 6/27/23: "...is a physical 6-foot-4, 195-pound soon-to-be junior with an upside two-pitch mix. He worked down the mound without much effort, pumping his fastball in the low-80s, touching 84.4 mph, and peaking at 2479 RPM. Off his fastball, Unwin turned to a low-to-mid-70s curveball with tight action and depth, spinning at 2370 RPM on average, while peaking at 2500 RPM."
