With the Summer season coming to an end and the 2015-2016 high school sports season as well as fall ball getting underway, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position.
Today we are gonna take a look at the top uncommitted underclass left-handed pitchers in the state. We will look to create a few top uncommitted lists each week, as you can see by our 2016 Rankings, 2017 Rankings and 2018 Rankings there are numerous talented prospects available.

Top Uncommitted Underclass Left-Handed Pitchers
Sam Weatherly, LHP, Howell HS, 2017
Ranking: 2nd in Michigan’s 2017 Class
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 175-pound athletic, two-way prospect. Explosive, over-the-top arm slot with aggression down through the baseball. Fastball explodes through the catcher's glove at 85-88 mph. Slider has small, tight spin at 71-74 mph. Straight changeup flashes some potential at 76-77. Gaining some rhythm and some balance throughout delivery will help gain command. At the plate, Sam uses a relaxed stance. Creates good separation and is explosive through contact. Works in a gap to gap approach while showing occasional pull side power. Bat exit speed was recorded at 87 mph. Active outfielder with center field ability. Moves well to the ball with strong footwork and glove actions. Aggressive crow hop with long and loose arm action create an 88 mph arm velocity.
