OTHERS TO WATCH:RHP Ryan Hawks (Warren East HS, KY) won a gold medal with Team USA over the winter and carried that over to a dominant spring, pitching with a low-90s fastball and sharp low-80s slider. C Cameron Scheler (St. Xavier HS, KY) is a physical, right-handed hitting catcher with good arm strength and power. OF Drew McGowan (University Heights Academy, KY) is an athletic left-handed hitter, who runs a 6.6-second 60-yard dash. RHP Blayne Deaton (Tates Creek HS, KY) is a super-projectable 6-foot-5 righty, who has run his fastball up to 90. RHP A.J. Hacker (Rowan County HS, KY) is a projectable 6-foot-4 righty who showed a big velocity jump this spring with a fastball up to 91 and good pitchability.
