PBR: Why did you choose Cincinnati?

Vore: I chose Cincinnati because there is nothing bad I can really say about it. I love the campus and it has great facilities. I like the conference they are in and I believe it will be very competitive. It also has a good reputation for their education. 

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Vore: I was also considering Ohio State, Missouri, West Virginia, Ohio University, and Evansville. 

PBR: This summer you competed in PBR’s Top Prospect Games and Future Games, how did you performance help you in the recruiting process?

Vore:  I felt that the PBR events helped a lot with the recruiting process. It is a great way to get your name out there and be seen by a wide range of colleges. 

PBR:  Coach Googins was just hired as the new coach at UC, how does it feel to be a part of his first recruiting class?

Vore: It feels great to be a part of his first recruiting class here. I am really excited to start playing for him and win a ton of games. 

PBR: Was the recruiting process what you expected?

Vore: The recruiting process was a little bit different than I thought. There would be periods of time where it seemed like nothing was going on or going to happen, then the next week you would be talking to all these different coaches. For me the process would either be very slow or extremely busy.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most exciting experience playing summer ball?

Vore: I played for Bo Jackson Elite Silver 16U and my most exciting experience had to be pitching at Vanderbilt under the lights in the Music City Classic. Pitching at Lake Point in Georgia was also a crazy experience. 

PBR: What were your stats last season?

Vore: I was 5-1 with 50 K's in 40.1 IP with a 2.77 ERA. I also led the team with 2 HR's

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter you have faced?

Vore: The toughest hitter I have faced would have to be Dalton Davis who played for the Dallas Patriots.
