Scouting Report: 3/13/16 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound catcher, solid strong build, durable frame, built well to handle catching duties. Defensively arm played above average, 75 mph out of the crouch, 80 mph across the diamond, accurate arm with carry, plays up. Showed athletic infield actions, pop times ranged 2.03-2.08 out of the crouch, projects well defensively at both positions, good footwork. 7.63 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup, short stride, good solid balance. Strong bat, shows above average strength in the box, fast bat, 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Shorter path to the baseball, level through contact, line drive type hitter, athletic hitter, on time. On the mound delivery is simple and repeatable, full arm action, over the top slot. Fastball sat 78-80 mph, touched 82 mph. Curveball played on 11/5 plane, 60-65 mph. Changeup is 73-75 mph, sinking action.
