Scouting Report
12/06/17- Twitchy athlete with a lot of upside. Ran a 6.74 60 yard dash and has functional athleticism. He moves well in the outfield and projects to be able to play center field at the next level. Offensively, he continues to improve and seems to be getting better extension through the swing. The athleticism and tools make him a very interesting.
08/06/17- Sleeper may be a bit of a stretch for Turk, as he turned quite a few heads on the first day, breaking the Future Games record with a 6.43 60 yard dash. He may be a sleeper in the fact he is listed at 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. He is lean and extremely quick twitch. He showed an above average arm in the outfield, topping out at 88 mph. He has functional speed, using it to track balls down well in the outfield as well as beating out a ground ball on a 4.12 home to first time. Offensively, he shows present bat speed and when on time the swing works short through the zone. He can get rotational and long at times, but the athleticism is the big intrigue for coaches. He showed a lot of tools and the athleticism and these tools will give him a lot of opportunities and if the bat continues to show the ability to make consistent, hard contact he will have the chance to make big strides.
06/28/17- Definition of athlete, Justin showed great feet and feel in the outfield with a average to above average arm while flashing a 6.68 60yd dash. Offensively, he showed good bat speed while working to the ball with a controlled violent swing. Tend to be a little out in front occasionally and would get steep in his swing. When staying behind the ball he showed ability to use the whole field on a line. A lot of twitchiness in his actions and has a lot of upside.
