Last week the Overall Class of 2021 Rankings were updated and expanded. Shortly following, our own Florida Class of 2021 Rankings were updated and expanded to 100 prospects. Being in such a baseball rich state means many of the prospects here are receving offers and committing earlier than other parts.

Taking a glimpse at the Top 100 shows that 39 of the 100 have already delcared a commitment. This leaves 61 prospects who are still searching for a home. Athlough there is no reason to panic for these guys, as there is plenty of time left in the recruiting process.

Yesterday, we presented the Top Uncommitted Pitchers remaining in the Top 100.

Today, we continue our presentation with the top 14 uncomitted middle infielders in Florida's class of 2021.

***Updated to reflect SS Dominic Scavone's commitment to Stetson***

Top Uncommitted Middles

Dominic Scavone SS / RHP / The First Academy & TNXL Baseball, FL / 2021

9/28/18 - Committed to Stetson

08/04/18-
Scavone stands at 6-foot, 170 pounds and overall doesn’t jump out physically or with any one particular tool. What he does do though, is consistently perform in all aspects of the game. He is a sound defender, who is above average at second and as he continues to grow and fill out could slide to third. Offensively, he has an advanced approach with above average pitch awareness. The swing is simple and consistently stays on the barrel in game against quality arms. On the mound, he throws strikes with a feel to pitch. The fastball is 81-83 with a 75-76 mph slider and 74-77 mph changeup. Overall, he is a gamer. The tools are solid across the board and will be a player who will help a team win games at the next level.

Ariel Garcia SS / Felix Varela Senior, FL / 2021

Grant Siegel SS / RHP / University, FL / 2021

08/25/18- Extremely athletic and projectable 6-foot-1, 185 pounds. Really stood out on the mound where the arm is quick and the present athleticism works. Fastball ranged from 82-85 mph, has late life and as he matures and learns to repeat will see big strides in offspeed which has shape and potential
