Prep Baseball Report Colorado just completed the 1st Annual Fall Diamond Classic. Over 40 teams participated in the first year tournament from the 15U-18U levels. The teams competed over two weekends,  pool play took place August 22nd and 23rd, then teams were true seeded for the championship weekend on September 26^th and 27^th.  Over the next week, Prep Baseball Report will break down the top performances from all levels.

Day 2 Player Highlights (9-27-15)

Jake Olsen 3 for 4 with 2 RBI, Jacob Nichols 7 IP 2 ER on 4 hits and 1K

15U SandLot 11 - Team Colorado Arnold 5
Fredrick Ezenyilimba, Jake Olson, Jacob Nichols all 2 for 3 for Team Colorado Arnold.

16U TC Bard 7  TC Stegman 6

Sam Lennarson CF L/L Team Colorado Bard (Ralston Valley HS 18') 2-3 scored game winning run in bottom of 7th, Jay Onken Team Colorado Bard (Pine Creek HS 18') 7IP 0H 1R 0 ER 16k

17U Team Colorado Lansville 8 Pro Swing 0 (Championship Game)

2018 RHP Justin Olson has now hit grand slams in both Diamond Classic weekends. 6’3 200lbs, this 2018 kid is for real. Lots of walks over the weekend so over all stats I am not aware of. 2017 RHP Liam Eddy is becoming one of the most recruited players in the 2017 class. Eddy threw his second no hitter of the fall against Pro Swing while striking out 11 in 5 innings pitched.

18U Lightning 12- 18U Diamond Club 1
For Lightning 2016 OF Matt Meraz went 3-4 with 3 doubles, 2017 OF Ryan Robinson went 2-2 with 2 doubles, and 2016 1B Ryan Sullivan was 1-2 with a triple.

18U Slammers Holzemer 7- 18U Slammers Cronican 1 (18U Championship Game)
For Slammers Holzmer, 2016 1B Dylan Nelson was 2-3 with 1 RBI, 2016 3B/RHP Nate Sweeney 1-3 with a 2-run home run, 2016 C Maverick Handley was 2-3 with a double and stolen base. 2016 LHP Brice Johnson was the winning pitcher with a dominating performance on the mound. Slammers Cronican saw 2016 INF Dante Booz go 1-3 with a double, 2016 OF Sean Kelsen drove in the only run with a sac fly and 2016 C Adrian Trujillo and 2017 OF Blake Donels each collect one hit. 

18U PBR 6 TCR 5
2016 3B Anthony Cauble brought home the winning run to give PBR North the lead in the top of the 7th inning. 2016 OF Austin Carson went 2-3 with a triple and RBI for PBR North. 2017 SS Kyle Cardona collected 2 triples and had 3 RBI for TCR.
