5-foot-10, 185-pound prospect. Bats and throws right. Donels improved a 7.31 60 time in June to a 7.21 60. Donels covers good ground in the outfield and charges ball well throwing 72 mph. At the plate he used an athletic slightly open stance. He has explosive bat speed through the zone with good extension through the ball. Gap to gap power. Shows confidence and swagger at the plate. Drove a deep double in first inning. On the season is hitting .510 with 25 RBI's and 8 doubles.

At the plate he used an athletic slightly open stance. He has explosive bat speed through the zone with good extension through the ball. Gap to gap power generates a solid 91 mph exit velo off a tee. One of the top speeds in the event. If he can get arm velo up you have a very solid 2017 prospect to follow.
Donels is an athletic 5-foot-10, 185-pound prospect who ran a 7.31 60 yard dash. Donels showed fluid actions and a 69 mph throwing arm from the outfield. Offensively, he used a slightly open stance and stayed behind the baseball effectively creating barrel whip with a bat exit velocity of 88 mph. He consistently lined baseballs to all fields in a solid round of batting practice.
